Since moving into my Atlanta bungalow almost five years ago, I’ve made quite a bit of updates to create a colorful and joy-filled sanctuary that meets my everyday needs and reflects my personal style. As a soulful maximalist obsessed with color, pattern, and all things gold, I knew my kitchen needed to be just as fun and fashionable as I am.
In my attempt to do so, here’s how my kitchen has evolved over the years:
2021 - Post Closing Beige and Brown Kitchen
2022 - Painted Cabinets Green and Updated Pendant Lights
2023 - Commissioned Local Artist to Add Custom Mural
2024 - Installed New Custom Vent Hood and Wallpapered Ceiling
Each update brought more character and personality, but the old appliances never quite matched the vibe.

CAFÉ Smart Counter Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator
This refrigerator is the showstopper of my kitchen! The 2025 Architectural Digest Great Design Award Winner looks like it was custom made for my kitchen, with its counter-depth flush fit tucked into my green cabinets. The LED light wall brightens my day every time I open it. I love the Convertible Drawer with Soft Freeze adjustable for meat, beverages, snacks and wine bottles (I’ve been considering making it a smoothie bar!), and the Dual-Dispense AutoFill Pitcher which makes accessing filtered water and staying hydrated easy!
The CustomFit Dishwasher has a place for everything! I love the adjustable racks that accommodate all of my dishes, silverware, and tall tumblers and bottles. The Lid Caddy is my favorite feature and the CustomFit Top Rack and Basket provide a dedicated wash area for extra cleaning. Also outfitted with LED lighting, the 2024 Architectural Digest Great Design Award Winner is well lit for loading and unloading, and the UltraWash Zone ensures all of my silverware and utensils come out sparkling no matter the setting.
CAFÉ 36" Smart All-Gas Commercial-Style Range
As a girl who doesn’t cook often, this range rivals any in a professional kitchen, whether cooking for myself or catering for a large group in my home. With six burners and superior heat distribution, the cooktop flame evenly spreads heat from the center to the edges, providing precise cooking with any cookware. I also love the multi-ring burner that offers different-sized flame rings on one element. Lastly, the Matte White + Brushed Brass combination perfectly complements my custom plastered range hood, like they were both there all along.
CAFÉ Convection Over-the-Range Microwave Oven
Confession - I own an air fryer but have never used it. I don’t feel like lugging it out of my pantry or leaving it out to take up my limited counter space. Well, this microwave solves that problem! With various cooking modes to precisely microwave, bake, roast, fast cook, and air fry, meals between meetings just got easier and no longer feels like a chore.
CAFÉ BELLISSIMO Semi Automatic Espresso Machine + Frother
Playing “barista” is my favorite morning ritual! Grinding fresh beans into delicious espresso or lattes with the aroma filling my home always puts a smile on my face. With its distinct Italian-made bar pump and large water reservoir limiting constant refills, the Bellissimo Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine helps me craft the perfect lattes - manually or with the SmartHQ app - to keep me energized throughout the day.
Finally, a toaster worthy of my countertops! The Express Finish Toaster is beautiful, sleek and modern. With four pre-set functions, an Express Finish mode, and extra-wide slots, I enjoy toasting bread and bagels when preparing breakfast each morning. I also love the copper accents and how they complement the metal mixing featured on each of my other CAFÉ appliances.
