I’m so excited to share that I’ve been invited to participate in the Virtual Dream Space Campaign with Ultraleather!

Blessed Little Bungalow was tasked with transforming a vacant secondary bedroom into a multifunctional guest suite and library that oozes in bold color, pattern, and sophistication. As today’s American homes become less defined and embrace more flexible layouts, homeowners are looking for ways to maximize every inch of their homes. This innovative design offers the perfect solution for those torn between dedicating a spare room to a home office or reading nook versus reserving it as a guest bedroom that sees only occasional use.

As seen in the mood board, I used several different Ultraleather leather alternative fabrics to enhance every part of my design! I used Wired Lemon Drop on the upholstered headboard and within the millwork wall hiding the murphy bed. Icovered the chaise lounge in Citrus, the desk chair in Olive Leaf, and desk surface in Brisa Beet Root. I love how the yellows, greens, and chartreuse play so well with the moody pinks and burgundys in the color palette.

In addition to the textures the Ultraleather fabric introduces, I layered on more pattern and color with Benjamin Moore’s Bewitched and Sesame, and pattern mixing with the rug, drapery, pillows and wallpaper. I used my BLB x Mitchell Black Lowcountry Sweetgrass wallpaper on the surrounding walls, and Mitchell Black’s Prowling Cheetah within the built-in shelving. Lastly, the statement Anastasia chandelier from Arteriors serves as the centerpiece of the room, illuminating the space so you can see every detail in all its sultry and golden glory.

What I love most about Ultraleather is that it gives you the luxe look of leather—minus the maintenance. And look at all these gorgeous colors! You have so many options to choose from, a definite plus for me when designing.
